Diana earned her Doctor of Public Administration degree from Valdosta State University with a focus on Public Sector Management. Her award-winning doctoral research analyzed organizational and community data for Family Promise of Brevard to evaluate program effectiveness for families experiencing homelessness. She also holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University, where she was a Schreyer Honors Scholar.
With over a decade of leadership experience and a passion for volunteering, Diana enjoys serving her community with various organizations, including Junior Achievement, Florida and Space Coast League of Cities, and Canine Companions for Independence. Her dedication has earned her numerous recognitions, such as the Yellow Rose Award of Excellence in Community Service, Dr. Theron Trimble Elementary Social Studies Teacher of the Year, and the 2024 Stephen R. Wise Disability Advocacy Award.
Diana has been married to her husband, Joshua, for 6 years and they serve as licensed foster parents in Brevard County.
